On its vast and picturesque campus, Vazhayur is home to several prominent educational institutions that elevate it in the field of education. These include MIMS Nursing College perched on the hill, Vedvas Engineering College, Safi Institute of Advanced Studies, and numerous primary schools and kindergartens.
The pristine banks of the Chaliyar host Kavvu Resort, while Vazhayur’s “Mini Ooty,” known as Horizon Hills, has become a popular tourist destination.
The Vazhayur community in Qatar established the VSF (Vazhayur Service Forum Qatar) in 2007. Over the past 18 years, VSF has carried out extensive activities both in Qatar and in the homeland.
VSF Qatar continues to maintain a strong presence in all programs organized by Chaliyar Doha.
