The Kodiyathur Pain & Palliative Association – Qatar Chapter is the common platform of the Kodiyathur Grama Panchayat in Qatar. It is a large human service platform that unites all the local associations. This great movement works under one umbrella for hundreds of patients and the economically backward people by providing total support to the palliative activities in the country.
The 24-hour active Kodiyathur Palliative is the pride of the state; even foreigners have come to learn its model, which has raised the name and glory of Kodiyathur.

Kodiyathur witnessed the military campaign of Tipu Sultan, who fought with dedication against the British.
The last public meeting attended by the Kerala Lion Muhammad Abdur Rahman Sahib was held in Kodiyathur. He breathed his last while returning from the meeting in Kodiyathur.
